Were you as excited as I was to receive those high value Tide coupons that were supposed to come out in the 1/24 P&G? I got extra papers so that I could have a bunch of those high value Tide coupons and when I opened my paper, I had a blank page telling me to go and print them out. I figured that I would at least be able to print them but NO, they weren’t really there either! Total surprise to me! Anyone who had just gotten a paper would know that something was wrong simply by seeing an almost blank white page inside of their insert. It left many wondering where these coupons were and why they didn’t receive them (including myself!)
The P&G Facebook page has been inundated with complaints as 95% of us did not receive these coupons! According to Coupons in the News “The $3 off Tide coupon is not going to be in 95% of the nation’s Procter & Gamble inserts in order to combat illegal theft of inserts. P&G would be able to track where the coupons went and where they ended up, as part of an effort to identify the sources of those who sell large volumes of inserts and clipped coupons.”
This is all boiling down to coupon fraud. The selling/stealing of coupons (which is illegal). P&G is aware of the region that the coupons were released so in an effort to stop the sales of coupons, these P&G coupon redeemed in different areas of the country other than the place they were released will give help them narrow down those who are selling clipped coupons or full inserts! So, stop supporting those who sell inserts or clipping services will help us get our high value coupons back! Hopefully, next months P&G coupon insert will be back to normal with our regualr coupons inside of it.
