2015 was a crazy year for me! I started my own blog, I got married, my husband lost his job and the list goes on and on! I am happy to say good bye to 2015 and welcome 2016 with open arms! I have made myself so many New Years resolutions and hope I can keep them all! I did way less shopping than I did in 2014 simply because we lived off my stockpile for months while planning our wedding. There wasn’t much time to go shopping beside for wedding stuff. All in all, I think I still did all right. It wasn’t my goal but that’s what 2016 is for right?!
My total spent for the entire year (this includes grocery stores and drug stores and Target of course) was only $1270.14 and I saved $10,266.20 which is a savings of 88.99%. I like to be in the 90th percentile for my savings but I came pretty close! I made a Grocery Savings Calculator and all I have to do is enter in my receipt totals. how much I spent, how much I saved, my monthly budget and it calculates everything for me. I am offering this to all of you free of charge 🙂 I hope that many of you have made New Years Resolutions to save more money and this Grocery Savings Calculator will help keep you on track! I hope you enjoy using it as much as I do ♥ The picture below is what a typical month for me looks like:
Lastly, make sure to come take a coupon class! I will teach you all the ins and outs of saving money and how to do what I do! It is super fun, very informative, and everyone from beginners to expert couponers learn something! I have never had anyone walk away from my class and not learn something! I look forward to meeting many new faces this year as teaching classes is my absolute favorite part of my “job”! Check out my schedule HERE. Happy Near Year!
